I have worked in international education since 1994 when I taught ESL in South Korea and then later in Japan. I returned to the U.S. in 1997 and began working as an international admissions recruiter for a university in Ohio. Later, I moved to Connecticut and worked as an international student advisor. Additionally, I worked overseas in the UAE twice - first time in Abu Dhabi and the second time in Ras Al Khaimah at local universities. I worked at NAFSA first as the Associate Director for the International Enrollment Knowledge Community (KC) and I am currently working as the AD in the Education Abroad KC.
I live and work in Washington, DC where NAFSA is located. I love this city with its many beautiful and vibrant neighborhoods. There is a neighborhood in DC to suit every personality. Mine is the Cathedral area where I enjoy walking my dogs on leafy streets with grand old houses.
