Also known as Kate.
My personal and international experiences guided my career path into promoting increased transformative experience inclusion for all students (underrepresented identities, subject matters, etc). I believe that cross-cultural understanding through communication is they key to bettering our communities and the world.
My passion for life long learning has lead me to multiple countries and many experiences with people of diverse backgrounds here at home in the US. I've handled roles as an international student, EFL teacher, political community outreach coordinator, higher education adviser, non-profit executive, and administrator.
My other passions have led me to pursue peace studies and extensive research through cultural studies on the long standing disputes in Eastern Asia (i.e history revision issues, stigma from wartime advances/colonization efforts, and land disputes post WWII).
