My path into international education was not intentional. I first started in admissions during my undergraduate studies at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I went on to work in admissions at a private boarding school where international students made up about 30% of the student body. In spring 2012, I began at IU Southeast as an Admissions Counselor and was the liaison for international students. In the fall of 2014, I transitioned to the role of Senior International Student Advisor at IU Bloomington. In 2019, I transitioned to my current role and continue to do immigration advising for international students along with liaising with our local BMV and SSA offices.
