Bio

My journey as a third-culture individual (Uzbek/Central Asian American) with roots in Russia, childhood in Uzbekistan, and adulthood in Wyoming, U.S. truly represents my diverse and rich tapestry of experiences. Currently, I live in Laramie, Wyoming and I work at the University of Wyoming and Laramie County Community College. I am a Poke alumna and graduated from UW in 2020 with my Ph.D. degree in Education. The current focus of my expertise and work is in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning/Assessment. I teach adult ESL and Transitions courses at the LCCC community college. I have a passion for exploring world cultures, languages, and commitment to scholarship of teaching and learning and global alumni advancement at the University of Wyoming. When I am free, I like hiking, dancing, and cooking.
