Sharece serves as the Assistant Director of International Student Advising at University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to beginning her work at UW, Sharece worked at University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Oregon, and Linn-Benton Community College. Sharece likes to bring a social justice lens to her work in international education and loves to meet new people who are interested in discussing difficult topics as we learn about culture and people around the globe. Sharece is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Ukraine (2005-07; 2011-12 - Response Volunteer). Sharece has Master's Degrees in Journalism and College Student Services Administration.
In her spare time, Sharece likes to read, write, take pictures, hike, travel, and go on spontaneous adventures that allow her to fill her journal with memories.
